Tad Davies Celebrates 35th Year in the Data Center Industry

In 2023, Tad Davies celebrates his 35th year in the Data Center industry. In reflecting on his experience, Tad stated, “It has been so exciting and such a privilege to be in an industry that has and continues to have a significant impact on the economy and more recently our daily lives.  Also fascinating have been cycles that have occurred, with each innovating over the previous.  I think about water-cooled mainframes in the 1980’s and liquid-cooling technology today. Or again in the ‘80s with the centralization of computing due to mainframes,  then decentralization with server proliferation, and now to centralization in the cloud.”

“An aspect I find most fascinating is how smaller businesses have become empowered to compete with those that are significantly larger due to progress in technology and applications.  This further accelerates innovation.  I am looking forward to what the next few decades bring!”
